There’s a single thread running through Donna Sherard’s career: change. She started in healthcare marketing, selling medical supplies, where she first learned what it takes to inspire people to act. That curiosity about human behavior pulled her into public health and behavior change – where shifting habits often means healthier families and stronger communities – and, eventually, into the practice of change management itself. Today, as a Prosci-certified practitioner and the Principal Consultant and Chief Changer at Changeable, Donna brings all of it together, helping mission-driven organizations build the capacity and readiness to navigate complex transformations and emerge stronger on the other side.
With an MPH from Columbia University and over two decades of cross-sector experience, Donna has designed and delivered behavior change and marketing programs that produce measurable results across four continents. Her portfolio spans Fortune 500 companies, private foundations, international non-profits, and social enterprises across Southern, Eastern, and Western Africa, Central and Southeast Asia, Central America, and the United States.
When she’s not helping organizations navigate change, you can find Donna exploring the world on her bicycle, Baldwin, in pursuit of the best street tacos, or enjoying live music. Amid constant change, she holds to one simple piece of wisdom:
“Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.”
