Performance Improvement and Instructional Design Specialist

Louise has more than 30 years’ experience in instructional design, program planning, development, evaluation, and management. Applying a research informed, behavioral approach to strengthening and transferring capacity and improving organizational and individual performance, she has experience with a variety of organizations, including: RAND, Stanford Medical School, the International Monetary Fund, American Red Cross Disaster Services, Population Services International, and the American Psychological Association.

Louise excels in applying a human centered approach and has done so in a wide range of settings in the United States and abroad, including: Project ALERT, a successfully evaluated substance abuse prevention curriculum implemented in multiple US states; A leadership development and training program developed to prepare emerging southern and eastern African professionals for leadership in HIV prevention treatment and care programs; and recently, an interactive performance improvement curriculum to enable health providers in Tajikistan to apply client centered nutrition and early child health care services.
